Luci has been teaching yoga since 2009. She began practicing yoga following surgery and treatment for thyroid cancer in 2006. Her motto is, “Practice with the body you have today.” That’s right. Not the body you had 10 years ago or the body you want to have 6 months from now. The body you have right now…because that’s the only body you’ve got! Her goal is to help you feel more at ease in your body, now and in the future.
She is excited to offer a variety of classes, as well as private yoga therapy sessions, to meet your specific needs. One thing she really loves about yoga is that it meets you where you are, without judgment: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her goal is to help you feel safe in your body. She enjoys working with individuals to cultivate nervous system self-regulation techniques. She also enjoys working with couples to explore co-regulation practices.
Luci is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler. With more than 1,000 hours of training, she is certified as a yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists, as well as the Christian Yoga Association. She holds a certificate for the YogaFit Warriors trauma-sensitive yoga program. She is a registered YogaFaith Breathing trainer and a registered YogaFaith Meditation and Nidra trainer.
She looks forward to walking alongside you on your journey to Living Well!
