Alisha is passionate about others understanding their identity and believes that healing happens within the context of relationships. Her aim is to provide a safe space in which clients can process their struggles and identify personal, spiritual, and relational resources and strengths that will help them to flourish. Alisha is honored at the opportunity to walk alongside others as they courageously pursue health. She approaches counseling through the lens that every person is created in the image of God as well as holistically, focusing on the mind, body, and soul.
Alisha received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has many years of therapy experience with families, women, teens, and children and is also an LPC-Supervisor. Alisha has completed training to receive her Perinatal Mental Health certification as she is passionate about walking alongside women through the life transitions that come with the childbearing years.
Alisha’s favorite things are being a wife to her husband and mommy to their four young children, spending quality time with family and friends, reading (best case scenario on the beach), and enjoying a good cup of coffee.
