Restorative Yoga
This restorative class offers you the opportunity to calm the chatter in your mind and stretch out the stiffness in your body. Through breath and gentle movement, the body and mind begin to shift from “fight or flight” mode to “rest and digest” mode. Allow yourself to feel softer and less burdened.
Yoga
This class is like a yoga buffet. Practicing with the body you have today, you will explore nurturing, healing poses, as well as standing and balance poses that will make you feel strong and steady. Multiple variations of poses are offered. Empower yourself to find clarity and confidence!
Chair Yoga
This 45 minute gentle class is for everyone. Modifications will make postures accessible to those who may have physical limitations. While practicing supported in a chair, this yoga class will help improve flexibility, increase strength and mobility. This class is truly a moving meditation for all.
Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual freedom and well-being through the application of yoga techniques. Luci Davis, C-IAYT, will partner with each member of the Living Well care team, as well as the client, to develop an individualized session or series of sessions that incorporates movement, breathwork, and meditation/relaxation practices. She is passionate about helping clients release trauma and feel safe in their bodies.

Yoga FAQ
What are the benefits of yoga?
Consistent yoga practice can improve balance and flexibility. It can also help you feel more comfortable and at home in your body. In addition to the physical benefits, yoga helps with stress management and can improve mental well-being. The process of moving and breathing allows your central nervous system to shift from sympathetic mode (fight/flight/freeze) to parasympathetic mode (rest/digest). Additional documented benefits of yoga include improved sleep, reduction of pain, stabilization of blood pressure, reduced inflammation, and relief from depression and anxiety.
What is proper yoga etiquette at Living Well?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class time. The doors will be locked at class time. If, for any reason, you need to leave early on a particular day, please notify your instructor prior to the beginning of class and slip out quietly prior to final relaxation time (savasana). Please respect the instructor and other students by leaving your phone in your car or turning it off. If you have a smart watch, please set it to Do Not Disturb. Please leave shoes, purses, and other belongings not necessary to your yoga practice in the designated cubbies near the door. Please do not step on any mat other than your own. Stepping on someone’s mat is a sign of disrespect. Please do not wear perfume in the yoga space.
How do I know if yoga is right for me?
Our Yoga Director, Luci Davis, loves to say, “Practice with the body you have today.” You don’t have to work your way into practice. Start where you are, do all you are able, and watch the changes take hold.

Happy Clients
“Luci’s mantra of “practice with the body you have today” put me at ease to let my body do what it could do at that moment. Over time, my body became stronger, more flexible and my balance improved. I’m very thankful that I took the chance on yoga and I am especially thankful to practice with Luci.”
Terry Corley
Client
“I have been a student of Luci’s for over 2 years now and couldn’t be happier. When you walk into Luci’s class you immediately notice the calm atmosphere she creates. Her knowledge and experience are evident as she takes you through basic moves to advanced poses. She encourages her students to ‘work with the body you have today.’ Both my husband and I love Luci!”
Lisa Propper
Client
“I cannot imagine a better Yoga teacher than Luci Davis! I have Parkinson’s and starting out in Luci’s Restorative Yoga Class I could barely walk, much less do those crazy Yoga positions! Luci said; “Just start with the body you have today and do all you can! So I did and after a year of twice a week classes, I finally conquered the infamous “Downward Dog!” My major issues are balance, flexibility, muscle control and proper breathing. Luci’s classes have improved my condition in all of these areas.”
