Amy Waters

Amy is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as an LPC-Supervisor with over 10 years of therapy experience. Her counseling specialties include Chronic Pain and Autoimmune Disorder, Anxiety/OCD, Depression, Addiction, Interpersonal Relationships, Family of Origin, Forgiveness, Church Hurt, Ministry/Caregiver Burnout, Identity Formation, and Stress Management.

Amy is a firm believer that seeking counsel is both wise and brave. She operates under the belief that all people, no matter what road they have walked, have intrinsic value and therefore strives to treat people with dignity and care.  Amy is wife to Neil and mommy to two kiddos and their Goldendoodle. When she’s not in the office, she can be found cooking for her people, serving in her church, or engaged in great conversation with her people.

Amy’s love of God and people led her to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Practical Theology from Howard Payne University and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider and believes in caring for people mind, body, and soul. Amy is trained in DBT, CBT, and Family Systems Therapy.
