April Klein is a RYT-500 Yoga Alliance-certified teacher. Her lifelong love for expressive movement drew her to train in Aerial Yoga in 2018. But even before that, God had planted a seed of deeper purpose that had begun to sprout. As an adoptive mom, she had already spent four years learning about trauma, its effect on the developing brain, and how movement + mindfulness practices like yoga can aid in integrative healing and growth. In 2020, she completed her 500 hr yoga teacher training with an emphasis on vinyasa flow. Simultaneously, she began a discipleship journey that would lead her to a broader appreciation of spiritual disciplines and to a full-time role in ministry. She has continued to expand her training with additional certifications in Standup Paddleboard Yoga and Trauma-Informed Children’s Yoga, which highlight her sense of adventure on and off the mat. Currently, in addition to leading yoga classes at Living Well, April advocates for children in foster care as a Heart Gallery Associate with The Fostering Collective.

As the Lord layers and overlaps her avenues of learning and leading, April has continued to teach yoga classes at fitness centers, women’s events, and even the occasional lakeside retreat. With a passion for guiding others in a practice that truly helps them to heal and grow in body, mind, and spirit, her classes incorporate classic flow sequences, opportunities for playful exploration, and intentional time and invitation into reflection.
