Chris is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. He believes healing happens in the context of safe, attuned relationships and strives to meet people with curiosity, compassion, and presence. Clients often describe him as warm, authentic, discerning, and grounding. His mission is to help people know who they are, love who they are, and live who they are—from a foundation of being deeply known and loved.
Chris works with a wide range of clients, with a particular passion for working with couples. He helps couples navigate communication issues, conflict resolution, emotional disconnection, infidelity, and seasons of feeling stuck. He also provides premarital counseling and marital enrichment, believing that intentional care and routine maintenance are key to lasting connection.
In addition to couples work, he sees individual adults and teens facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family issues, identity questions, pornography struggles, and intimacy concerns.
His therapeutic approach draws from Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Story Work.
Chris attended UT Tyler for undergrad and met his wife while serving at Pine Cove. He has a background in teaching high school Spanish and coaching soccer. Chris is a proud girl dad, dachshund dad, and fan of Liverpool F.C. Outside of counseling he enjoys reading fantasy, watching soccer, sipping coffee on the porch, serving at church, and spending quality time with his people.
