Elaine believes a strong therapeutic relationship in the counseling room is just the beginning for clients who are wanting to explore living their best life. Elaine’s passion for working with clients stems from her own past life experiences. She is a “seasoned person” that believes all people deserve to be heard and desires to give her clients the space to explore their unique voice. Her goal is to create a supportive and safe space where clients can explore topics like change, trauma, anxiety, or depression.
Life is full of highs and lows, but it’s how we move through each life moment to get to the next that helps build a stronger, more resilient person. Elaine is interested in living her best life through exploring mindfulness, meditation, and prayer. She understands this is not something that we all come into easily and wants to help encourage anyone struggling.
Elaine is a single mom to three teenagers. She keeps busy watching them explore their interests and supporting them through their life highs, lows, and in-betweens. Elaine is working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Texas at Tyler to become a LPC. She is under the supervision of Amy Waters, LPC-S.
