Elaine is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes a strong therapeutic relationship in counseling is the first step for clients who want to explore change. Each person’s story is unique, and Elaine strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore their past, present, and future. Elaine’s goal is to meet clients where they are and partner with them to grow from their own experiences. She uses a holistic approach that encourages a mind/body connection.
Elaine is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is EMDR trained, completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and has training in CBT, DBT and IFS. Elaine has experience helping clients with emotional regulation, relational issues, attachment issues, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. She enjoys working with a wide age range of individuals and couples.
