Elaine is a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes a strong therapeutic relationship in counseling is the first step for clients who are wanting to explore change. Her goal is to meet people where they are and partner with them so they can heal and grow from their own experiences. Each person’s story is unique, and Elaine strives to give clients a supportive and safe space to narrate their story.
Elaine is a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler with a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has been trained in EMDR and completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to work alongside clients to help them make connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She also utilizes dialectical, relational, and solution-focused therapy. Elaine has experience helping clients with emotional regulation, relational issues, attachment issues, trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. She enjoys working with a wide age range of individuals, couples, and families.
