Amy Waters Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Tyler Texas

Richard’s two-word purpose statement in life is “Cultivating Identity.” He enjoys supporting people who find themselves stuck in the messiness of life and helping them find freedom by focusing on all aspects of their being – spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional. He loves it when any client finds their true identity and begins to live life with their identity as their firm foundation. Because of his experience working with adolescents for over 15 years, Richard excels in working with that population but also enjoys working with couples – whether dating, engaged, or married.

He earned a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, has been counseling since 2012, and became a fully Licensed Professional Counselor in 2018. Richard is also EMDR certified. Before coming to Living Well, he spent three years with Sparrow House Counseling in Dallas. He then transitioned onto staff at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas where he served in a variety of roles – Student Pastor, Teaching Pastor, and Counseling Pastor – before starting his own counseling practice in 2018.
