Befriending Our Inner Critic – TUESDAY
Join Jennifer Carson at Living Well for a guided group experience, Befriending Your Inner Critic, based on The Inner Critic Workbook by S.C. Whooley, PsyD and H. Yates, LCMHC.
Many of us live with a constant inner dialogue that is critical, discouraging, and exhausting. This group offers a structured space to understand that voice, reduce its impact, and develop a healthier, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Using evidence-informed mindfulness, acceptance, and self-compassion practices, participants will learn how to:
- Recognize patterns of self-criticism
- Understand the origin of the inner critic
- Reduce feelings of shame and self-doubt
- Build self-worth and emotional resilience
- Strengthen connection to values and authenticity
This is not about “silencing” your inner critic through force, but learning how to respond to it with awareness and compassion so it no longer runs the show.
This class meets on Tuesdays, starting June 16 – September 8 | 2:00–4:00 PM
Pricing
This group is $40 per week for 10 weeks (total $400).
Payment is collected weekly to make participation more accessible and flexible.
